Liverpool sunday had the second home win of the EPL season, playing Blackburn.
A great game that was one of the best of the season so far, but what happened after the very disapointing Everton game last week?
I have studied the statistics after the game, and here some food for thought:
In the Blackburn game Liverpool played a total of 345 passes, 271 of them were successfull and 72 were intercepted or did not reach the receiver.
Let's look at the Everton game from last week:
In the Everton game Liverpool played a total of 510 passes, with 54 of them being unsuccessful. But even if there were more passes in total and fewer missed passes, Liverpool failed to produce more than 6 shots on target and no goals.
What happened?
